Love me some Rolling Stone

So last week a few folks I know posted comments about how Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman were getting all the attention and the terrorists were not.  Now Rolling Stone puts one on its cover and people freak out.  I think its great what they did because you know what, terrorists don't fit some ideal you have in your head of a lunatic middle eastern jihadist.  They are just like you (that's right you) and me, young, cute, impressionable, disillusioned people looking for answers and reasons why.  Rolling stone is not "glorifying him" or "making him a hero" - they are trying to get people talking about a larger conversation that needs to be had.  I'm a runner and I was very sad about what happened at the Boston Marathon because I know what that event means to people...I know its something I will probably never attain in my running career for myself although I would love to. I am not however upset that the larger issues at hand are being brought to the forefront and talked about.  Please my fellow Americans, stop disappointing me with your closemindedness.
